PRODUCT:
East Coast Shielding 230-836 is a 1 Oz. (1.4 mil) Copper Foil Tape with acrylic adhesive, with liner.
PRINCIPLE USES:
East Coast Shielding 230-836 is used in a variety of EMI/RFI shielding applications in the electrical/electronic industries.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
- Repair and modification of printed wiring boards
- Flat conductor assemblies
- EMI/RFI shielding of small electromagnetic components (transformer and reactor coils, instrument and control motors)
- Prototype wiring board design and layout
- Supplementary shielding of joints, seams; for shielding cable slices and cable repair

SURFACE PREPARATION: The surface to which the tape is applied should be dry, clean, and free of contaminants.
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Tape should be stored in a dry area at temperatures of 60 degrees F (16 degrees C) to 80 degrees F (26 degrees C).
NOTE: East Coast Shielding 230-836 is provided with a 66# liner; 78# liner is available on special order.
